Overview
Mayvenn is a hair extension start-up that not only sells directly to their customers but has created a community of stylists that are part of the brand. They would provide marketing packs to the stylists in their community to help build leads and sales.

Challenge

Social media in the mid to late teens was starting to see a change with people’s attention spans dropping. Viewer fatigue was becoming the new problem so we need to update the marketing packs at a more frequent rate to help our stylist get more engagement and leads.

 

Solution

We came up with a strategy to provide stylists with a new visual set of assets monthly that would be planned 2-3 months in advanced based on hair and fashion trends. This would require a cross-functional company wide collaboration to help determine sales goals, product support and customer service needs.

Company Initiatives

Throughout the years Mayvenn had many company initiatives to help progress and change the market landscape of hair extension such as the Free Install program, wig customization and SMS consultation to name a few. Each of these initiatives required the same visual style workflow with photoshoots and art direction for all the assets made whether it be produced in-house with our creative team or externally with a creative agency.
